The question of intelligence tortured and tormented psychologists since there is very psychology as a science. Definitions of intelligence are different, but the horses are always described as very intelligent animals. In this final work study was based on an examination of adaptive intelligence using custom intelligence tests. The tests were conducted on four therapeutic horse different age and gender (two mares and two stallions) and have compared the results obtained. The field tests lasted for a period of four days (26 to 30 July 2016) in the field of association for therapeutic and recreational riding "Can" from Osijek. Therapeutic riding does not require the development of special skills in the work horse. Nevertheless horses develop their skills and successfully used their intelligence. Deviations from the number of points during the testing can be explained by age or his horse raising interest for the test. What is seen in a small number of points in older horses in the implementation of the tests. Older horses have evolved over the life of intelligence distinguishing relevant from irrelevant actions. In young horses is evident in the uniformity of the points that we associate with the same life experience and level of development of intelligence. Despite the actions carried out by horses use their intelligence and the life experiences they develop. The study showed that all horses successfully collaborate and solve tests in accordance with their capabilities, but through years of getting the experience that know how to apply.
