The study was conducted in pepper vegetation period during 2019 growing season, on family farm located in Okrugljača, Virovitica-podravina County. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of different irrigation treatments on plant growth and yield (Capsicum annuum L.). The study was set as a random block layout in three repetitions. Irrigation regimes consisted of three irrigation treatments (a1=5 l/m2 ; a2=10 l/m2 ; a3=15 l/m2). At the end of the growing season, five average plants were taken from each experimental plot, which were labelled depending on the irrigation treatment. Further analysis and measurements were made in the laboratory of the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences. The influence of irrigation on the following observed variables was studied: yield (kg/m2), plant height (cm), number of leaves per plant (n), stem diameter (cm), number of wounds per plant (n), fresh leaf mass (g), root length (cm), root mass (g), root diameter (cm) and relative moisture content (%). Irrigation had a significant impact on the level of pepper yield (p<0,01). Significant influence of irrigation (p<0.05) is also evident in the amount of fresh leaf mass, mass and diameter of the roots and the relative water content of the pepper leaf. Analysis the correlation of the investigated characteristics revealed a medium strong correlation of the positive direction between leaf number and plant height (r=0,69) and root mass and plant height (r= 0,7). A strong correlation of positive direction was found between leaf mass and relative water content of the leaf (r= 0,99).
