Sažetak (engleski) | In the Drava - Danube fishing area, 1.120 carp were caught and measured. In stagnant waters 1.066 carps were caught, while 54 carps were caught in rivers. The values of total length and body weight were measured on all caught specimens and the Fulton condition index (K) was calculated. The average total length of total 1.120 caught carp was 52.45 ± 13.97 cm, the average individual weight was 2.778 ± 2.255 kg, while the average Fulton condition index was 1.529 ± 0.344. The average total length of carp caught in stagnant waters was 53.32 ± 13.37 cm, the average individual weight was 2.885 ± 2.276 kg, while the average Fulton condition index was 1.599 ± 0.353. The average total length of carp caught in rivers was 45.55 ± 16.63 cm, the average individual weight was 1.936 ± 1.903 kg, while the average Fulton condition index was 1.539 ± 0.257. Stagnant waters are dominated by carp whose total body length ranges from 35 to 60 cm, and 88.37% of individuals were found in that range, while 68.52% of individuals caught in rivers were found in that same range. It was also found that 12.19% of individuals in stagnant waters had a Fulton condition index in the range from 2.00 to 2.49, while only 7.4% of individuals were found to be in the same range in streams. |
