Abstract
Nepovoljne vremenske prilike glavni su čimbenik u poljoprivrednoj biljnoj proizvodnji iz razloga što se na njih najmanje može utjecati u usporedbi s ostalim čimbenicima koji utječu na uspješnost proizvodnje. Cilj ovog rada bio je ukazati na posljedice koje nepovoljne vremenske prilike donose kroz direktan utjecaj na visinu i kvalitetu prinosa. Pregledno je prikazan utjecaj temperature, oborina, te ekstremnih vremenskih prilika poput tuče i poplava na biljke kod kojih dolazi do pojave stresa. Stres predstavlja sve činitelje koji nepovoljno utječu na rast i razvoj biljaka i koji smanjuju produktivnost biljaka. Naglasak je stavljen na utjecaj suše praćene visokim temperaturama na različite kulture s osvrtom na kukuruz kao naše glavne ratarske kulture. Također, istaknuta su moguća riješenja u ublažavanju visokih temperatura i suše kao što je navodnjavanje. Sustavi za navodnjavanje predstavljauju adekvatno rješenje za borbu protiv visokih temperatura i suše koje se javljaju tijekom ljeta
Abstract (english)
Adverse weather conditions are the main factor in agricultural crop production, because at least they may be affected in comparison with other factors that influences the success of the production. The aim of this study was to point out the consequences of adverse weather conditions that have a direct impact on the amount and quality of yields. This paper shows the influence of temperature, precipitation and extreme weather events such as hail and flooding on the plants wherein causing occurrence of stress. Stress represents all factors that adversely affecting plant growth and development that reducing the productivity of plants. Emphasis is 32 placed on the impact of drought followed by high temperatures in various cultures with focusing on maize as our main crop. Irrigation has been identified as a possible solution to mitigate the high temperatures and drought. Irrigation represent adequate solution to compete high temperatures and droughts that occur during the summer.
