Abstract
Invazivne biljke su strane vrste koje susrećemo u gotovo svim biološkim skupinama. Invazivne drvenaste biljne vrste su unesene u Republiku Hrvatsku većinom namjerno kao ukrasno bilje, bilje za razne industrije, proizvodnja meda, itd. Gotovo ih je nemoguće iskorijeniti. Vrlo brzo se šire i ugrožavaju autohtone biljne vrste. S takvim biljnim vrstama se uglavnom borimo mehaničkim putem, dok je kemijska kontrola manje zastupljena. Neke od najraširenijih invazivnih drvenastih biljnih vrsta u Republici Hrvatskoj su: Acer negundo L., Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle, Amorpha fruticosa L., Broussonetia papyrifera (L.) L'Her. ex Vent., Robinia pseudacacia L. Cilj rada je opisati morfološke osobine, ekologiju, utjecaj i mogućnost kontrole drvenastih invazivnih vrsta koje su nastanile ekosustave Republike Hrvatske.
Abstract (english)
Invasive plants are forgein species which can be found in almost every biological group. Invasive woody plant has been imported to Croatia mostly as ornamental, industrial plants, honey plants, etc. It is almost impossible to eradicate them. They spread very rapidly and endanger native plant species. With such plant species we mainly fight mechanically, while chemical control is less represented. Some of the most widely invasive tree species in the Republic of Croatia are: Acer negundo L., Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle, Amorpha fruticosa L., Broussonetia papyrifera (L.) L'Her. Ex Vent., Robinia pseudacacia L. The aim of the paper is to describe the morphological characteristics, ecology, influence and possibility of control of wood invasive species that settled in the ecosystems of the Republic of Croatia.
