Abstract
Jabuke pripadaju porodici Rosaceae, jednostavne su za uzgoj i imaju dobar prinos. Nasadi jabuke vole suhu, toplu klimu uz vlažno tlo, ali su jako osjetljivi na štetnike i bolesti. Važno je poznavati bolesti koje napadaju jabuke, te načine njihovog suzbijanja. U ovom radu prikazana su i opisana su morfološka obilježja jabuke, te mogućnosti njezina uzgoja na ekološki način, ali i praćenje i suzbijanje bolesti jabuke na OPG „Mihaljević” na području Erduta. Prikazane su agrotehničke, kemijske i uzgojne mjere provođenja zaštite nasada jabuke na primjeru spomenutog gospodarstva. Najveći problem uzgoja nasada jabuke najčešće su loši vremenski uvjeti, koji su pogodni za razvoj bolesti (velika količina oborina, visoka relativna vlaga zraka i sl.) od kojih najveće štete najčešće čine bolesti krastavost ploda (Venturia inaequalis) i pepelnica (Podosphaera leucotricha). Zbog pojave tih bolesti kod neotpornih kultivara potrebno je tretiranje sredstvima za zaštitu bilja. Unutar ekološke zaštite za prskanje koriste se botanički pesticidi dobiveni ekstrakcijom neotrovnoga, uglavnom ljekovitoga i začinskoga bilja. Ali isto tako, bitna je i otpornost nasada jabuke na namijenjenom području, uzgoj na suncu i odgovarajućem tlu, pravovremena zaštita od štetočina i bolesti, gnojenje i redovito obrezivanje nasada.
Abstract (english)
Apples belong to the Rosaceae family of plants, they are easy to grow and they are productive. These trees prefer dry, warm climates and moist soil, but they are very sensitive to pests and diseases. It is important to know the diseases of apples and how to control them. This paper shows and describes morphological properties of apples, possibilities of growing apples ecoogically, and also monitoring and suppression of apple diseases on the family farm „Mihaljević” in Erdut. Agrotechnical, chemical and cultivating measures of implementation of apple protection on this family farm are shown in this paper. The biggest problem of growing apples are usually bad weather conditions (a large amount of rainfall, high relative humidity, etc.), which are suitable for the development of many diseases and most of the damage is usually caused by diseases Apple scab (Venturia inaequalis) and Powdery mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha). Because of the appearance of those diseases on frail cultivars, interventions with pesticides are necessary. Within ecologically acceptable protection, botanical pesticides are used by extraction of non-toxic, mainly medicinal and herbal plants. But what is also important is plant disease resistant varieties suited for the intended area, growing them in full sun and appropriate soil, properly controlling insects and disease, fertilizing and regularly pruning the trees.
