Abstract
Cilj završnog rada bio je prikazati detaljnu proizvodnju ječma u Republici Hrvatskoj s kratkim osvrtom i na proizvodnju u svijetu. Osim toga, u radu su opisani i agroekološki uvjeti proizvodnje ječma te uobičajena agotehnika u intezivnoj proizvodnji na našem područiju. Ječam se koristi za hranidbu životinja, industrijsku preradu te prehranu ljudi. U pogledu agroekoloških uvjeta ječam najbolje podnosi sušu i visoke temperature, ima najmanje potrebe za vodom i slabije podnosi niske temperature od pšenice. Kako bi se dobio visok i stabilan prinos vrlo su bitne sve agrotehničke mjere u proizvodnji ječam (plodored, obrada tla, sjetva, njega i žetva), a naročitu pozornost treba posvetiti gnojidbi. Među žitaricama ječam se u svijetu nalazi na četvrtom mjestu. U prosjeku se uzgaja na oko 50 milijuna ha s prosječnim prinosom od 2,9 t/ha od čega se čak 62 % zasijanih površina nalazi u Europi. U Republici Hrvatskoj ječam se u prosjeku (2006. - 2015.) uzgajao na 54 468 ha što znači da se po zastupljenosti na oranicama nalazi na četvrtom mjestu. Prosječan prinos je iznosio 3,9 t/ha što je značajno više u usporedbi s svjetskim prosjekom. Međutim, u analiziranom razdoblju prinos je varirao od 3,3 t/ha u 2010. do čak 4,4 t/ha u 2015. što je povećanje od oko 33 %, a glavni razlog ovakvih variranja su vremenske prilike.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to analyze barely production in Republic of Croatia with review on world production. Furthermore, the paper describes the agroecological condition of barley production and the usual practice for barley intensive production. Barley is used for animal feed, industrial processing and human nutrition. Regarding the agroecological conditions, barley is best tolerated by drought and high temperatures, it has the lowest water requirements and is quite susceptible to low temperature than wheat. All agrotechnical measures is very important for high and stabile yield of barley and fertilization is particularly important. Among the cereals, the barley is ranged in the fourth place in the world. It occupies about 50 million hectares with an average grain yield of 2.9 t/ha. In Europe there is about 62% of total barley productions. In the period from 2006 to 2015 in Croatia barley on average occupies 54 468 ha, which means that it is ranked fourth on the Croatia’s arable land The average yield was 3.9 t/ha what is notably higher in comparison to the world average. However, in that period yield varied from 3.3 t/ha in 2010 to 4.4 t/ha in 2015 what is 33% higher. Main reason for shuch high variation can be weather conditions.
