Abstract
Soja (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) je jednogodišnja leguminoza koja se sije u više od 60 zemalja diljem svijeta, te je vodeća uljna i bjelančevinasta kultura čije se zrno koristi za ishranu ljudi, za ishranu stoke i u razne industrijske svrhe. Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi varijabilnost morfoloških svojstava zrna deset kultivara soje. U istraživanje je uključeno pet hrvatskih kultivara: Ika, Ema, Vita, Lucija i Sonja i pet stranih kultivara: Boly-44, Idefix, Merlin, Quito i Color. Ocijenjeno je pet morfoloških svojstava zrna: veličina zrna, oblik zrna, boja ovojnice zrna, boja hiluma zrna i boja funikulusa hiluma zrna uz pomoć protokola za ispitivanje različitosti, uniformnosti i stabilnosti tzv. DUS-ispitivanje. Prema dobivenim rezultatima utvrđena je varijabilnost u četiri od pet morfoloških svojstava zrna, osim kod boje ovojnice zrna gdje je kod svih kultivara utvrđena žuta boja zrna, što se i očekivalo jer je žuta boja ovojnice zrna najpoželjnija za preradu soje.
Abstract (english)
Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) is a one-year legume which is sown in more than 60 countries worldwide, and is a leading oil and protein crop which grain is used for human nutrition, for livestock nutrition and for various industrial purposes. The aim of this study was to determine the variability of grain morphological characteristics of ten soybean cultivars. Five Croatian cultivars were included in the study: Ika, Ema, Vita, Lucija and Sonja and five foreign cultivars: Boly-44, Idefix, Merlin, Quito and Color. Five morphologicals characteristics of grain were evaluated: grain size, grain shape, color of grain coat, color of the hilum of the grain, and color of the funiculus of the hilum of the grain using protocol for tests on distinctness, uniformity and stability so-called DUS – testing. According to the results obtained, variability was found in four of the five morphological characteristics of the grain, except for the color of the grain coat where the yellow color of the grain was determined in all cultivars, which was expected because the yellow color of the grain coat is most desirable for soybean processing.
