Abstract
Svaka moderna država vodi jednu od najvažnijih politika, a ona se ogleda kroz prizmu monetarne politike. U tom smjeru svoju politiku vodi i Republika Hrvatska, gdje u prvom redu ona svojim ciljevima i instrumentima utječe na cijene, investicije, količinu novca u opticaju, kamate i sve druge činitelje koji su u ulozi monetarnog upravljanja. U Republici Hrvatskoj ključnu ulogu u vođenju monetarne politike ima Hrvatska narodna banka koja je ujedno središnja banka u provođenju svih poslova. Ovakav način djelovanja ujedno je glavni preduvjet za održavanje financijske stabilnosti zemlje, zbog činjenice da središnja banka (Hrvatska narodna banka) tečajem ima snažan utjecaj na realnu ekonomsku aktivnost. HNB je neovisna, samostalna i u cijelosti odgovorna Hrvatskom saboru po pitanju održavanja stabilnosti cijena unutar Republike Hrvatske. Obzirom na nadležnosti, provođenja devizne politike, upravljanja međunarodnim pričuvama i odgovornosti Hrvatske narodne banke uopće, ista je dužna izdavati novac u obliku papirne forme kao i onaj kovani. U ovom radu također će se prikazati neki od izazova i perspektiva monetarne politike RH posebno kada je u pitanju strategija uvođenja euro valute u RH.
Abstract (english)
Every modern state pursues one of its most important policies, and it is reflected through the prism of monetary policy. In this direction, the Republic of Croatia also pursues its policy, where, above all, its goals and instruments affect prices, investments, the amount of money in circulation, interest and all other factors that play the role of monetary management. In the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian National Bank, which is also the central bank in the conduct of all operations, plays a key role in the conduct of monetary policy. This type of action is also a major prerequisite for maintaining the country's financial stability, due to the fact that the central bank (Croatian National Bank) has a strong influence on the exchange rate on real economic activity. The CNB is independent, autonomous and fully accountable to the Croatian Parliament for maintaining price stability within the Republic of Croatia. In view of its competence, foreign exchange policy, management of international reserves and the responsibility of the Croatian National Bank in general, it is obliged to issue paper money in the form of a coin. This paper will also outline some of the challenges and perspectives of the monetary policy of the Republic of Croatia, especially when it comes to the strategy of introducing the euro currency into the Republic of Croatia.
