Abstract
Pojava kasnog proljetnog mraza zbog klimatskih promjena nanosi velike štete cjelokupnoj svjetskoj plantažnoj proizvodnji. Glavni cilj rada bio je proučiti i sagledati razloge pojave mraza, vrstu mraza i kritične temperature koje uzrokuju oštećenja tkiva.Priroda pojave mraza razlikuje se ovisno o lokaciji, nadmorskoj visini i geografskom položaju, ali jedan je problem zajednički svima: gubitak topline iz mladica biljaka i cvijeća koji uzrokuje smrzavanje. Smrzavanje tkiva ovisi o kritičnim temperaturama i vrsti mraza, njegovom intenzitetu i trajanju. Metode i mjere zaštite od kasnog proljetnog mraza dijele se u tri glavna područja: aktivne, pasivne i kemijske mjere. Detaljno su objašnjene metode koje spadaju u područje poljoprivredne tehnike, jer studije pokazuju da su najučinkovitije: različite vrste sustava za prskanje, različite vrste sustava grijanja i veliki promjer ventilatora. Izvedeni su zaključci o učinkovitosti različitih sustava s obzirom na negativne temperature i isplativosti pojedinog sustava.
Abstract (english)
The occurrence of late spring frost due to climate changes causes great damage to all world’s plantation production. The main objective of the paper was to study and to review the reasons of frost occurrence, type of frosts and critical temperatures that causes tissue damages. The nature of frost occurrence varies by location, elevation, and geographic position, but one problem is common to all: heat loss from young plant shoots and flowers that causes freezing. Freezing of tissue depends on critical temperatures and the type of frost, its intensity and duration. Protection methods and measures from late spring frost are divided into the three main areas: active, passive, and chemical measures. The methods that fall within the scope of agricultural engineering are explained in detail, as studies show that they are the most effective: different types of sprinkling systems, different type of heating systems and large fan diameter. Conclusions were drawn about the effectiveness of different systems regarding negative temperatures and the cost-effectiveness of each system. The area of protecting permanent plantations from late spring frost will become more important due to climate change, and agricultural engineering must keep pace with the challenges of modern production and provide a response to all challenges.
