Abstract
Potkornjaci (Scolytidae) su tipični štetnici drva. Na njegovu prisutnost ukazuju otvori na deblu i debljim granama voćaka, iz kojih izlazi piljevina ili smola. Unutar porodice najznačajniji štetnik u nasadima badema je voćni sipac (Xyleborus dispar F.). Uglavnom je sekundarni štetnik koji napada oslabljena stabla od stresa, mraza ili prevelike vlage, no mogu napadati i zdrava stabla. Istraživanje je povedeno u nasadu badema poljoprivredne zadruge “Vrisak” na području Ravnih kotara u mjestu Polača. Praćena je pojava i štete voćnog sipca tijekom proljeća 2019. godine. Za hvatanje su korištene crvene ploče (Rebell rosso) s etanolom (70%) kao atraktantom. Pregledavane su svakih 7 dana. Nakon prikupljanja i analize podataka zaključeno je da je let trajao od 8.ožujka do 7.lipnja, iz rezultata je također vidljiva velika povezanost broja ulovljenih jedinki s srednjim dnevnim temperaturama i količinom padalina. U istraživanju je također ispitivana učinkovitost primjene tehnike injektiranja debla kao kurativne metode u zaštiti od voćnog sipca. Korištena je kombinacija insekticida Karate Zeon (0,075%) i fungicida Switch (0,1%). Iz rezultata je vidljivo pozitivno djelovanje na smanjenje populacije u deblu biljke.
Abstract (english)
Bark beetles (Scolytidae) are typical wood insects. Its presence is indicated by holes in trunk and on thicker tree branches, from which sawdust or sap comes out. Within the family, the most important pest in almond orchards is European shot hole borer (Xyleborus dispar F.). They are mostly secondary pests that attack trees which are weakened by stress, cold or excessive water in soil, but they can also attack healthy trees. The survey was conducted in the almond orchard of the agricultural cooperation “Vrisak” in the area of Ravni kotari, village of Polača. The occurrence and damage of shot hole borer was monitored during spring of 2019.. Red sticky traps (Rebell rosso) with ethanol (70%) as an attractant were used for capture. They were inspected every 7 days. After collecting and analyzing of the data, it was concluded that the flight lasted from 8. March to 7. June. The results also show a large correlation between the number of caught specimens and the middle daily temperatures and precipitation. The study also examined the effectiveness of applying the technique of trunk injection as a curative method in the protection against shothole borer. A combination of Karate Zeon insecticide (0,075%) and fungicide Switch (0,1%) were used. The results show a positive effect on reducing the population in the trunk of trees.
