Abstract
Kolika je važnost poljoprivrede govori i činjenica kako se gotovo jedna polovica čovječanstva bavi poljoprivredom te im je to i primarna djelatnost koja im je glavni izvor egzistencije. Suncokret (Helianthus annuus L.) je ratarska kultura od krucijalne važnosti za proizvodnju jestivog ulja, kako u svijetu tako i u Republici Hrvatskoj. U razdoblju 2004. - 2013. godine, suncokret se u svijetu uzgajao na prosječno 24 milijuna hektara godišnje s prosječnim urodom zrna od 1,40 t/ha. Za postizanje visokih uroda potrebno je biljkama stvoriti povoljne uvjete za rast i razvoj pa tako i kod suncokreta. Mjere koje to omogućuju ukratko imaju naziv agrotehničke mjere ili agrotehnika, a to su: plodored, obrada tla, sjetva, gnojidba, njega i zaštita bilja te žetva.
Abstract (english)
The importance of agriculture is also borne out by the fact that almost one half of humanity is engaged in agriculture, and this is their primary activity, which is their main source of livelihood. Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) is a crop-growing crop of crucial importance for the production of edible oil, both worldwide and in the Republic of Croatia. In the period 2004-2013, sunflower is grown worldwide on an average of 24 million hectares per year with an average grain yield of 1.40 t / ha. To achieve high yields, plants need to create favorable conditions for growth and development, including sunflower. Measures that make this possible are called agrotechnical measures or agrotechnics, which are: crop rotation, tillage, sowing, fertilization, care and plant protection, and harvest.
