Abstract
Za dokazivanje razvoja klijanaca pri različitim koncentracijama zaslanjenosti korišteno je sjeme jednogodišnje cvjetne vrste – Antirrhinum majus L. Cilj rada je bio dokazati i prikazati kako određene koncentracije NaCl u supstratu (podlozi) utječu na rast i razvoj klijanaca. Pri izvedbi pokusa korišteno je 18 petrijevih zdjelica, podijeljeno na 6 tretmana i 3 ponavljanja za svaki tretman s ciljem postizanja što točnijih rezultata. Prve 3 zdjelice predstavljaju kontrolu te je podloga bila nezaslanjena odnosno sjemenke su postavljene u destiliranu vodu. U sljedeće tri zdjelice dodana je otopina 20 mM NaCL, zatim 40 mM NaCL, 60mM NaCl, 80 mM NaCl i nakraju 100 mM NaCl. U svaku zdjelicu postavljeno je 50 sjemenki navedene cvjetne vrste. Rezultati pokusa za svaki tretman unešeni su u excel tablicu uz pomoć kojih je izračunata statistika te ista prikazana u grafikonima. Iz grafikona zaključujemo kako povećane koncetracije NaCl u supstratu ili podlogama za uzgoj inhibiraju klijanje te je rast i razvoj klijanaca otežan i usporen. Isto je potvrđeno i drugim znanstvenim istraživanjima.
Abstract (english)
For the purpose of studying different salinity levels and NaCl concentrations effects, author of this experiment used Antirrhinum majus L. seeds. Main goal of the experiment was examination and conclusion of different NaCl concetrations embedded in substrate affected growth of the Antirrhinum seedlings. 18 petri dishes divided into 6 treatments and with 3 repetitions for each treatment were used while performing the experiment with the intent of acquiring as precise results as possible. First three dishes are NaCl neutral, meaning they only contain distilled water without salt. 20 mM NaCl was added into the next 3 dishes, following with 40 mM NaCl into the next 3, 60 mM NaCl into the next 3, 80 mM NaCl into the next 3 and finally 100 mM NaCl into the last 3 dishes. 50 seeds of the above mentioned species were gently put into each dish. Results were added into an excel table after the experiment was finished. Author used this data to create statistics from which charts were derived. These charts show best how increased NaCl concentrations in the substrate inhibit germination, while also increase germination time seedlings need and making it harder for them to grow (properly). Other scientific experiments share the same conclusion.
