Abstract
Budući da bioenergija postiže sve veći značaj, biogoriva, kao i unaprjeđivanje tehnologija tog sektora privlače sve veću pažnju. Ovisnost o neobnovljivim izvorima u proizvodnji energije nažalost i dalje je prisutna, stoga su ulaganja u obnovljive izvore energije koji predstavljaju nepresušan izvor a ujedno uvelike utječu na smanjenje štetnog utjecaja na okoliš od velike važnosti. Nusproizvodi iz poljoprivrede kao i pojedine kulture kojima primarna proizvodnja nije usmjerena na ljudsku prehranu imaju dobar potencijal da budu ulazna sirovina u proizvodnji bioplina. Na taj način, osim što bi se smanjila potrošnja konvencionalnih izvora energije, također bi se utjecalo i na zatvaranje ciklusa od proizvodnje hrane do proizvodnje energije. Također, pažnju treba usmjeriti i na ostale obnovljive izvore energije poput energije sunca, energije vjetra, energije vode i druge. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrdit bioplinski potencijal koprive (Urtica dioica L.) te u konačnici mogućnost njenog korištenja u proizvodnji toplinske i električne energije.
Abstract (english)
Since bioenergy gains increasing importance, biofuels as well as the advancement of technologies in the sector are attracting increasing attention. Dependence on non-renewable sources in energy production is unfortunately still present, so investments in renewable energy sources are of great importance, as they are an inexhaustible source and at the same time they greatly reduce the harmful impact on the environment. By-products from agriculture as well as certain crops for which primary production is not focused on human consumption have a good potential to be an input raw material in biogas production. In this way, in addition to reducing the consumption of conventional energy sources, it would also have the effect of closing the cycle from food production to energy production. Attention should also be paid to other renewable energy sources such as solar energy, wind energy, water energy and others. The aim of this study was to determine the biogas potential of nettle (Urtica dioica L.) and ultimately the possibility of its use in the production of heat and electric energy.
