Abstract
Oprašivači imaju iznimno važnu ulogu u agroekosustavu jer svojim svakodnevnim aktivnostima prenose pelud s jednog cvijeta na drugi i time vrše oplodnju. Bez oplodnje cvjetova plod ne može izrasti. Posljednjih desetljeća zbog uništavanja njihovih staništa, intenzivne poljoprivredne proizvodnje te korištenja pesticida i gnojiva, njihova brojnost i raznolikost znatno je smanjena. Istraživanja poput ovoga otkrivaju njihovo trenutno stanje (brojnost i raznolikost) te njihovu aktivnost i ponašanje. Ovo istraživanje je pokazalo kako i dalje postoji dobra aktivnost oprašivača u nasadima jabuka diljem Slavonije. Analiza rezultata pokazala je kako oprašivači na ekološkom nasadu, gdje je restriktirana uporaba pesticida i gnojiva, ipak preferiraju ta područja za sakupljanje peludi, nektara i za sam čin oprašivanja. Ekološki nasadi, smanjeno korištenje ili potpuna zabrana štetnih vrsta pesticida i gnojiva te osiguravanje njihovih prirodnih staništa su rješenja za održavanje zdrave populacije i aktivnosti oprašivača.
Abstract (english)
Pollinators play an extremely important role in the agro-ecosystem, because with their daily activities they transfer pollen from one flower to another and thus carry out pollination. Without pollination of the flowers, the fruit cannot grow. In recent few decades, due to the destruction of their habitats, intensive agricultural production and the use of pesticides and fertilizers, their number and diversity has been significantly reduced. Studies like this reveals their current state (abundance and diversity) and their activity and behavior. This research showed that there is still good activity of pollinators in apple orchards throughout Slavonia region. Analysis of the results showed that pollinators on organic orchards, where the use of pesticides and fertilizers is restricted, still prefer these areas for collecting pollen, nectar and for the act of pollination itself. Ecological plantations, reduced use or complete ban of harmful types of pesticides and fertilizers and ensuring their natural habitats are solutions for maintaining a healthy population and pollinator activity.
