Abstract
Suvremena borba protiv korova obuhvaća vrlo brojne i raznovrsne metode i mjere suzbijanja. Svi korovi nisu štetni i njihova štetnost se promatra s različitih brojnih stajališta. Ali kompeticija u poljoprivredi između korova i usjeva nam ukazuje na činjenicu, da ako želimo kvalitetan i visok prinos moramo suzbijati korove koji oduzimaju usjevu uzgojnu površinu, vodu i hranjiva. Metode suzbijanja imaju za cilj smanjenje populacije korovnih biljaka do nivoa minimalnih nepovoljnih efekata djelovanja korova u usjevima i nasadima kulturnih biljaka. S obzirom da je korove nemoguće u potpunosti uništiti, suzbijanje mora ići do praga ekonomičnosti, a sa tim u vezi do praga štetnosti, odnosno, do onog broja i mase korova u usjevu gdje neće nanijeti kulturnim biljkama znatniju štetu. Iz toga se ekonomičnost u suzbijanju korova mora pronaći kako u racionalizaciji poljoprivredne proizvodnje i njenog pojeftinjenja, tako i provođenje integralnih mjera borbe protiv njih. Integralne mjere borbe protiv korova sastoje se od kompleksa različitih mjera i načina suzbijanja korova koji se, u zavisnosti od usjeva, florističkog sastava i građe korovne zajednice i konkretnih agroekoloških uvijeta na zadanim površinama, međusobno na ovaj ili onaj način nadopunjavaju. Suzbijanje korova, prema tome, mora biti stalna mjera koja se provodi integralno u vremenu i prostoru.
Abstract (english)
Modern combat against weeds includes a number of various methods and measures. All weeds are not harmful and their harmfulness is viewed from many different points of view. But competition in agriculture between weeds and crops indicates the fact that if you want high quality and high yield, you have to suppress weeds consuming crop of cultivation, water and nutrients. Suppression methods aimed at reducing populations of weeds to the lowest level possible adverse effects of weeds in crops of cultivated plants. Weeds are impossible to destroy completely, control must go to the threshold of cost effectiveness, and with that in relation to the threshold, to that number and weight of weeds in the crop, where it will not cause substantial damage to crop plants. This leads to cost-effectiveness in controlling weeds, we must find out the rationalization of agricultural production and it's price cuts, and implementation of integrated measures to combat them. Integral measures in combat against weeds consist of a complex of different measures and methods of weed control, which, depending on the crop, floristic composition and structure of weed communities and specific agro-ecological conditions in the given areas, each in one way or complement. Weed control, therefore, must be a permanent measure is implemented integrated in time and space.
