Abstract
Promocija je bilo koji oblik komuniciranja upotrijebljen u svrhu informiranja, uvjeravanja ili podsjećanja ljudi na proizvode, usluge, ideje, te uključivanja i utjecaja društva. Kako bi se neki proizvod ili usluga uspješno razmijenili/prodali potrošači trebaju znati za njih. Tu se kao takva aktivnost javlja promocija. Promocija je sastavni dio marketing miksa. Promocija je svaki oblik komuniciranja između proizvođača i kupca, odnosno potrošača, tj. ukupne javnosti, a temeljna svrha joj je informiranje i usmjeravanje kupaca, odnosno utjecaj na njihove kupovne odluke. Cilj ovoga istraživanja bio je ispitati koliko su ispitanici upućeni u promociju, njezinu važnost i ulogu kada je u pitanju kupnja suncokretovog ulja. U radu je prikazana definicija promocije, njezina važnost i uloga. Prikazani su rezultati ispitivanja na području Osječko-baranjske županije te je vidljivo koliko su ispitanici upoznati s promocijom te koliko im je ona zapravo važna kada donose odluku u kupovini suncokretovog ulja.
Abstract (english)
Promotion is any form of communication used for the purpose of informing, persuading or reminding people about products, services, ideas, and involving and influencing society. In order for a product or service to be successfully exchanged/sold, consumers need to know about them. This is where promotion appears as such an activity. Promotion is an integral part of the marketing mix. Promotion is any form of communication between the producer and the buyer, i.e. the consumer, i.e. the general public, and its basic purpose is to inform and guide customers, i.e. to influence their purchasing decisions. The aim of this research was to examine how knowledgeable the respondents were about promotion, its importance and role when it comes to buying sunflower oil. The paper presents the definition of promotion, its importance and role. The results of the survey in the area of Osijek-Baranja County are presented, and it is evident how familiar the respondents are with the promotion and how important it actually is to them when they make a decision to buy sunflowers.
