Abstract
Hranidba sportskih konja predstavlja značajan dio u ukupnoj strukturi troškova držanja konja. Zdravlje konja, ponašanje i rezultati će uvelike ovisiti o koncepciji hranidbe i zato se pri formiranju obroka mora uzeti u obzir dobrobit životinje, kvaliteta i količina sastavnica obroka te materijalni troškovi hranidbe. Svaka disciplina konjičkog sporta zahtijeva drugačiji nutricionistički pristup hranidbi konja. Nužno je poštivati normative hranjivih tvari, vodeći računa o stupnju korištenja i... More tjelesnoj masi svakoga konja individualno. Sportski konji bi svakodnevno, u prosjeku, trebali konzumirati suhe tvari u količini između 1 i 3 % od svoje tjelesne mase. Vrijeme hranidbe kao i sastav krmiva u obroku igraju bitnu ulogu i mogu polučiti značajne rezultate. Kombinacija aerobne i anaerobne faze treninga također će biti pod utjecajem hranidbe. Dugotrajno zdravlje, prevencija boli i izdržljivost tijekom natjecanja trebali bi biti glavni ciljevi svakoga vlasnika konja. Less
Abstract (english)
Nutrition of sport horses represents a significant part in a total structure of expenses in horse breeding. Health of a horse, behaviour and results will depend greatly on a concept of nutrition, therefore, in forming a meal, one must take into account the animal's well-being, quality and the amount of components of meals, as well as material expenses of nutrition. Each discipline in equestrian sport requires different nutritional approach to feeding. It is necessary to respect norms of... More nutrients, taking into account the level of usage and body mass of each horse individually. Sport horses should daily, on average, consume dry matter in amount between 1 and 3 % of their body weight. Time of feeding, as well as the content of pasturage in meals play an important role and can achieve significant results. Combination of aerobic and anaerobic phase of training will also be affected by nutrition. Long term health, prevention of pain and stamina during competitions should be main goals of every horse owner. Less
