Abstract
Tijekom provedenih istraživanja u PIK-u Vinkovci, koja su se odvijala od 20. kolovoza do 20. rujna 2018. godine, ukupna količina klipa sjemenskog kukuruza za sušenje je iznosila 277 640 kg. Vlaga klipa u vrijeme berbe je bila zadovoljavajuća i kretala se od 21,5 % do 26,2 %, što znatno smanjuje vrijeme sušenja, a isto tako smanjuje i potrošnju energenta. PIK Vinkovci raspolaže sa dvije sušare komornog tipa, gdje jedna ima 5 a druga 4 komore. Svaka komora je kapaciteta 20 000 kg. Zbog smanjene proizvodnje sjemenskog kukuruza samo su se tri komore koristile u procesu sušenja tijekom navedenog razdoblja. Vrijeme sušenja jednog turnusa iznosilo je 60 h, što je ispodprosječno, a tome su pridonijeli vrlo povoljni suhi ljetni uvjeti sa vrlo malo oborina tijekom berbe. Kao energent se koristilo loživo ulje, odnosno mazut, a ukupna količina utrošenog mazuta je iznosila 12 700 kg, te se pokazalo da je sušenje ovim energentom tijekom istraživanja bilo vrlo isplativo.Taj iznos utrošenog energenta je ispodprosječan jer su tome pridonijeli suhi ljetni uvjeti. Izlazna vlaga nakon sušenja iznosila je 13 %.
Abstract (english)
During the research conducted at PIK Vinkovci (an agricultural company) from 20th August to 20th September 2018., the total quantity of seed corn ears to be dried was 277,640 kilos with a satisfactory harvest moisture content between 21,5% and 26,2%, which greatly reduces the drying time and energy consumption. PIK Vinkovci has two chamber-type dryers, one of them consisting of 5 and the other one of 4 chambers. Each chamber capacity is 20,000 kilos. Due to reduced seed corn production only three chambers were used during the above-mentioned drying period. The drying of a single batch was 60 hours, which is better than average. This was caused by favourable dry summer conditions with very little precipitation during the harvest. The energy source was fuel oil and the total amount of the fuel oil spent was 12,700 kilos, which proved to be very cost-effective. The amount of the energy source spent is better than average due to dry summer conditions. The exit grain moisture content was 13%.
