Abstract
Obiteljsko poljoprivredno gospodarstvo Franković bavi se tovom junadi već 4 godine. Gradnja farme sufinancirana je sredstvima iz programa IPARD-a. Farma je smještena 500 metara od Gorjana. Na farmi se uzgajaju većinom junice koje su križanci belgijskog plavog goveda, zbog dobre tovne sposobnosti i kvalitetnog mesa, te nekoliko grla simentalske pasmine. Tov traje 12-15 mjeseci, te se postiže završna masa od 450-500 kg. Obiteljsko poljoprivredno gospodarstvo bavi se i ratarstvom, obrađuje 80 hektara zemlje, te sam proizvodi krmiva koja se koriste u hranidbi. Na farmi nema radnika već cijela obitelj sudjeluje u poslu.
Abstract (english)
Family farm Franković is breeding cattle already 4 years. Construction of farm was co-financed by the program IPARD. Farm is located 500 meters from Gorjani. On the farm are grown mostly heifers that are hybrids of the Belgian blue cattle, because of the good fattening capacity and quality meat, and several cattle of the Simmental breed. Fattening lasts 12 to 15 months and they reached a final weight of 450-500 kg. Family farm is engaged in farming, cultivate 80 hectares of land and the products are used for animal nutrition. There are no workers on the farm, but the whole family is involved in the business.
