Abstract
U ovom radu biti će opisane biološke karakteristike te povijesni značaj trčke skvržulje (Perdix perdix L.) na našim prostorima. Također prikazat ćemo pogodna staništa i uvijete za ovu pticu te razloge njenog nestanka sa ovih prostora. Za potrebe terenskog istraživanja izrađene su tri volijere u kojima će biti smješteno 60 ptica na području lovišta XIV/125 Vuka. Osim volijera napravljene su hranilice i pojilice koje će također biti postavljene na terenu. Ptice su kupljene iz privatnog uzgajališta i dovežene na već spomenute lokacije u lovištu. Postupnim privikavanjem na novo stanište trčke su ispuštane u dva navrata radi bolje prilagodbe. Od 60 ptica koliko je kupljeno i stavljeno u volijere na području lovišta preživjelo je njih 52. Daljnim promatranjem i prebrojavanjem utvrđeno je kako su ostale ptice preživjele te su se prilagodile novom staništu i njegovim uvijetima.
Abstract (english)
This paper will describe the biological characteristics and the historical significance of the Gray partriges (Perdix perdix L.) in our region. We will also show suitable habitats and conditions for this bird and the reasons for its disappearance from these areas. For the purpose of field research, three aviaries have been constructed which will house 60 birds in the area of the XIV / 125 Vuka Range. In addition to the aviaries, feeders and drinkers were also made, which will also be installed in the field. The birds were purchased from a private farm and brought to the previously mentioned hunting grounds. By gradually adjusting to the new habitat, the runners were dropped two times for better adaptation. Of the 60 birds purchased and put into aviaries in the hunting area, 52 of them survived. Further observation and counting showed that other birds survived and adapted to the new habitat and its conditions.
