Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je prikazati godišnju proizvodnju zelene mase i suhe tvari vlasulje trstikaste (Festuca arundinacea L.) i prikazati distribuciju prinosa na pojedine otkose na području sjeveroistočne Hrvatske. Istraživanje je provedeno putem poljskog pokusa na fakultetskom pokušalištu pokraj Tenje. Sjetva je obavljena 27. rujna 2021. godine sa 20 g sjemena sorte B-18 (Bc instituta) po parceli površine od 6 m2, što je odgovaralo sjetvenoj normi od 33,3 kg/ha. Prinos je mjeren u četiri roka košnje: 03. svibnja 2022., 08. lipnja 2022., 13. srpnja 2022. i 07. rujna 2022. Ukupno ostvareni prinos svježe zelene mase 11.693 kg/ha i suhe tvari 2.855 kgST/ha. Najveći prinos ostvario je drugi otkos, nakon kojega je po prinosu slijedio četvrti otkos, potom treći otkos i na posljetku sa najmanjim prinosom je bio prvi otkos. Neobično nizak prinos prvoga otkosa, koji se oporavio u drugom otkosu može pripisati rijetkom sklopu vlasulje trstikaste nakon prezimljenja, koji se poboljšao nabusavanjem do drugog otkosa u kojem je i ostvaren najveći prinos. Pretpostavlja se da bi bolje prezimljenje (sa gušćim sklopom) moglo biti ostvareno nakon ranijeg roka sjetve, tj. kasnoljetnog roka sjetve od 15. kolovoza do 8. rujna, kako se tradicionalno preporučuje za lucernu i crvenu djetelinu
Abstract (english)
The aim of this research was to show the annual production of green mass and dry matter of tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea L.) and to show the distribution of annual yields into individual cuts, all in the area of northeastern Croatia. The research was conducted through a field experiment at the university's test site near Tenja. Seeding was done on September 27, 2021. year with 20 g of seeds of the B-18 variety (Bc Institute) per plot of 6 m2, which corresponded to the seeding rate of 33.3 kg/ha. The yield was measured in four cutting dates: 3rd May 2022., 8th june 2022., 13. July 2022. and 7th September 2022. Total annual yield of fresh green mass was 11,693 kg/ha and dry matter yield 2,855 kg/ha. The highest yield was achieved in the second cutting term, followed by the fourth cutting term, then the third cutting term, and finally the first cutting term with the lowest yield. The unusually low yield of the first cut, which recovered in the second cut, can be attributed to a thin crop stand of tall fescue after overwintering, which improved by tillering until the second cut, where the highest yield was achieved. It is assumed that better overwintering (with a denser stand) could be achieved after an earlier seeding date, i.e. in a late summer seeding period from the August 15 till September 8, as is traditionally recommended for alfalfa and red clover.
